Riyadha Health & Welfare Services Group is a registered Community Based Organization(CBO) under the Department of Social Service in Lamu County – Kenya.

As a Self Help group, it is required to pursue a range of Social and Economic activities that foster and improve its income for sustainability and contribute to the welfare of the Riyadha Institution and the community at large.

The Group was initiated in 2008 by energetic 3rd and 4th generation progenies of Habib Swaleh,the fonder of the Riyadha Mosque & Islamic Centre,with the Blessings of the current day elders.

Mission

To provide the necessary services to Riyadha Mosque's activities which aim at improving its infrastructure and continue to assist the community welfare.

Providing Health Services, Improving Educational standards and creating public awareness in community service in line with the Islamic culture and traditions.

The Annual Free Medical & Surgical Camp

The 20thAnnual Free Medical Camp, conducted last year, 2022, was a Success and a big relief to the residents of Lamu and neighboring towns as well.

Several Outpatient cases as well as Major Surgeries were attended to, Thanks to the Volunteer team of Medical Professionals from all over Kenya, who offered their services at no cost.
